Sasha Baker is the Founder of Energia and has been in Global Executive Search since 2001 after studying an MPhil at Trinity College, Dublin in Political Science (Game Theory, Rational Choice Theory) and previously a BA Hons in Economics & Finance from Exeter University.

Sasha’s passions are: Technology; Proprietary Trading & Algorithmic/Quant Trading and he has helped numerous firms & Asset Managers build out their front office technology, sales and trading derivatives platforms in every major asset class.

He has worked for several of the World’s Top Tier Finance & Technology Executive Search firms before starting Energia and building their Commodity Derivatives & Proprietary Trading practice. Since 2016 Sasha has taken responsibility for building Energia’s Cryptography business, the most exciting development of the 21st century. He is responsible for Energia’s Global Front Office, Capital Markets & Legal-Compliance areas.
